Splash! A Community Waterfront Event in Middle Branch Park kicked-off Reimagine Middle Branch’s community engagement. The event offered an array of opportunities to learn about, enjoy, and build comfort with being on the water through programmed rowing, kayaking, fishing and environmental education activities.
The event also featured land-based activities near the waterfront including food trucks, a DJ, COVID vaccinations, and a Reimagine Middle Branch Plan community engagement station. The Reimagine Middle Branch team hosted the event and was joined by many partners including: Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, the Cherry Hill Fish Finders, Baltimore Community Rowing, MedStar Harbor Hospital, Baltimore Aquatics, Youth Resiliency Institute, Blue Water Baltimore, Baltimore Office of Sustainability, NPS and Chesapeake Conservancy, and MES/Masonville Cove/MPA.
