“I started rowing in middle school when I was recruited by a rowing coach. I just happened to sign up for it because it looked interesting, and I had a friend who was already involved in the sport.
My proudest moments on the water have been during inter-squad scrimmages where I have gotten close to stronger rowers. They inspired me to improve my rowing capabilities and really develop in the sport.
At the Middle Branch, I would like to see better dock structures get built for safety reasons. I think that cleaner docks would improve the area. I also see a lot of people fish on the Middle Branch and would love the opportunity to try it out.”
